MAINTENANCE

INTERNAL FLOORING APPLICATIONS

Internal floors should be swept, dust mopped or vacuumed frequently to remove any loose dirt or debris. This can be followed by the use of a pH neutral cleaner diluted in water to help remove any other build-up of dirt and grime.

EXTERNAL FLOORING APPLICATIONS

A soft broom can be used to sweep away dirt, leaves and other small debris. A stiff broom is recommended for larger debris. Organic matter such as leaves, bird droppings, tobacco etc. may cause unsightly marks on the surface of the stone – this can be cleaned using a heavy-duty (non-acidic) cleaner such as Spirit Bright As diluted with clean water. If necessary the stone can be high pressure washed using a mixture of clean water and a pH neutral cleaner.

IN GENERAL

Polished surfaces and products with low abrasion resistance will require a higher level of care & maintenance. High foot traffic, abrasive particles such as sand, dirt & grit and acidic products such as citrus, wine & perfume are the most common causes of dulling, etching and scratching. For this reason, we recommend installing honed products for kitchen bench tops rather than polished, and honed or textured finishes in high foot traffic areas such as lobbies.

DO clean surfaces with neutral/mild detergents regularly
